Parental Control Information

Because of the built-in web browser, parents may be concerned that their child will use the app to circumvent the built-in parental controls. We have you covered. EasyGPA includes a unique parental control lock that limits the browser to only the approved grading site, allowing your child unrestricted access to grades only.

Here's how it works:
  • Set a homepage by visiting the site's login page with Parental Controls off. Tap the save button to set the homepage.
  • After setting the homepage, go to Options and then tap the Parental Control System. Enter the default code of 0000. Turn Parental Controls on. Be sure to type in a new code and confirm the change. To lock the app, go back to the Options screen or quit the app.
Now, whenever the web browser is used, only the approved grading site can be accessed. Be aware that setting a site such as Google as the homepage can allow unwanted content, but if the Parental Control System is used properly this shouldn't be an issue.

To completely disable access, type about:blank into the web browser, set it as the homepage, and lock as described above.
